Chapter 79. Rising Heat

They were settling in for a quiet evening when Jared suddenly appeared in the doorway of the living room, where they were all chilling with a strange, proud look on his face.

What really got their attention was the way he was dressed. He was dressed in a black silk shirt and dark trousers, looking every inch the determined romantic.

"Everyone, get dressed," he announced, smiling faintly. "Nothing too fancy, but something you would wear something nice to."

Myla sat up, blinking. "What's happening?"

Jared only smirked at her. "It's a surprise. Just hurry up."
