Chapter 57

King POV

After a night of collecting payments, we arrive at the clubhouse early, before Gray even gets there. As promised, we’re getting tested for STDs. Truth is, Alyssa was the only one who needed it, but Niko and I decided to join in to reassure her that she didn’t pass anything to us.

As expected, we’re all clean.

Gray’s going over business with me, Niko, and Mason, but I can’t seem to focus. My eyes keep drifting to Alyssa as she chats with Nina across the room. It’s like nothing else exists when she’s in my line of sight. I never gave a damn about women outside of sex before, but fuck, I’m obsessed with every little thing my kitten does. She’s fucking gorgeous. The way she moves, the fire in her eyes, the way her mouth curves when she smiles—it’s like she owns my every goddamn breath.

“King, what the fuck is up with you today?” Gray’s voice cuts through the haze in my mind. He’s pissed. I blink, realizing I hadn’t heard half of what he just said.
