I could feel the weight of the atmosphere shift, the air growing heavier as the house began to tremble. It wasn’t just the walls or the floor beneath our feet. It felt as though the very foundation of the place was cracking, groaning under some unseen force. The intricate designs that had once graced the rooms around me were peeling away, their beauty now eroding like fragile paper left too long in the rain.

The grand chandeliers swayed unnaturally, casting eerie shadows that seemed to move of their own accord. The dining table that had been filled with food, now stood empty, fragments of the ceiling collapsing onto the wooden surface with enough force to form indents.
