I tilted my head to the side, trying to piece this new piece of information together. He had mentioned something about an Autumn Equinox Ball, and I couldn’t help but feel utterly confused. I couldn’t recall ever hearing anything about it before. The way he said it, like it was some grand event, only deepened my sense of bewilderment.
“Caleb... what... What exactly is this Autumn Equinox Ball?” I asked, my voice uncertain. I was sure I must have missed something—maybe a tradition or custom from the pack that I just hadn’t been privy to yet. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized I had no clue what he was talking about.
