Aurora’s POV
When Caleb and I finally came back to the packhouse, it was well past midnight and we were both covered in sand, wet to our bones.
Caleb’s majestic fur now stuck to his body and with all the sand and dirt covered all over him…he looked no better than a wet dog in desperate need for a bath.
But that wasn’t the problem. It was finding Caroline standing in front of my room, in her jammies and her arms crossed over her chest as she tapped her foot on the floor, a murderous look on her face.
