“It’s not just when Aurora stopped breathing,” I begin, my voice firm, as everyone turned to look at me. “It’s when we were searching for her too. Caroline… she felt it. She felt Aurora’s pain.”
“That’s impossible,” Damien frowned, crossing his arms over his chest. “Even twins aren’t that connected. There’s no way Caroline could have felt Aurora’s pain like that.” His voice was skeptical, but I saw the fear behind them.
