Mariel’s POV

“I thought you’re going to kick me as soon as I hugged you?”

I turned my eyes before staring at my dramatic big brother who just returned from France. He still has his annoying smile yet approachable aura, as expected to a handsome Hemingway like my brother.

He patted my head like a pet before giving me a warm smile. “How’s my little sister? Did that man treat you right while I was away?” His brown honey-like eyes glittered under the sun.

I pouted and linked my hand onto his arms then walked towards the car. “Our boss has always been cold and strict, he’s handsomeness is a waste since his temper is quite high.”

We went inside the car and the driver started the engine then drove to our destination. My brother just came home after managing our business abroad for almost a year. The reason why I decided to work at mister Black’s company was because I wanted to explore while my brother was away. He wouldn’t even let me hang out
