Bella's POV

“Yes my dear Princess. Your dad is here beside me right now.” She paused before she continued. “Why dear?”

I sighed, my fingers started to tremble. “Where are you? I just saw dad earlier with his business partners. I think they’re having a meeting at our house? Really?” My voice sounded so confused.

I heard a soft giggle before I heard dad’s voice from the phone, whispering something to mom. “Oh dear! Your dad’s meeting was cancelled because someone got an emergency so he wasn’t able to continue.” Mom explained that made my eyebrows furrowed.

“Really? So he’s already at the company now?”

Mom answered, “Yes my dear Princess.”

My eyebrows narrowed even more. “Why did they even plan to have a meeting at our house? I do not understand when there’s literally a meeting room at the company.” I stated.

She giggled. “Nothing Princess.” Mom stopped for awhile. “We’re still busy my dear, we’ll be home early. Goodbye, love y
