Chapter 24

It had been two weeks since Angel arrived. Other than constantly trying to be by Jax’s side, she had not really done anything. Raine, however, was irritated as hell.

It was Friday night, and Raine had just taken a shower for work. She just got dressed for her shift at the bar. She picked up her perfume, spritzed it on herself, and about puked.

“What the hell? This perfume smells like a skunk!” she gagged.

She had to shower again to get rid of the nasty smell from the perfume. She put the perfume in a box under the sink to get rid of later, as now she’s really late for her shift.

She knew they were always slammed at work on Fridays, and people would be pissed at her being late. She walked into the bar. Jax walked over to her with a scowl on his face.
