Rowans' POV

Maximus continues to stare at me as we jog towards the training spot where I do some exercises. He blushes slightly, I return it but deep inside me, I'm not steady. I don't want to act desperate, but hoping he doesn't keep me longer than I can bear. Patience can be exhausted and once it is, a person will get to do what he didn't want to do initially.
