Chapter 44

In the Phoenix Pack, the pack doctor had informed Alpha Aiden that Camille’s wolf, Lunaris was fighting for her life. She seemed to know that there’s poison in her blood and she’s vomiting the poisoned and contaminated blood out from her body system.

Alpha Aiden croaked out and asked, “so that’s a good thing then?”

The pack doctor nodded her head, smiling widely, “yes it is.”

Camille vomited the blood for some minutes and then stopped. They cleaned her up and checked that everything was back to normal and in a while she would be awake. Alpha Aiden was so relieved, happy tears rolling down his face. For a second there, he thought he would lose her.

He was so thankful, he sat back down and caressed her hand, whispering loving words and kissing her fingers. Then he whispered close to her ear, “that’s my fighter” and smiled to himself.
