Chapter 52

Alexa's POV 

"Ma'am, don't get scared, as we progress deep across the water, your fear will be gone." I turn to look at Charlie who is saying this, then I let out a sigh. I thought that my fear will grow as we go farther? Well, it seems from experience, he knows what he is saying  

We are set to have one of the most thrilling experiences I'd been imagining for a long time now, while Charlie takes the front row, Dustin embodies me from the rear, holding me. I'm positioned in the middle. This helps me hold the sailor, while my mate holds me from behind. The feeling becomes like riding on a power bike for the first time, being carried at the back by a rider who is riding with great speed. Charlie isn't speeding but I feel like I'm floating under the wings of the wind. The cold breeze sweeping from the water brushes over my face and body sending strokes of cold down my spine.

I tighten the straps of my life jacket, feeling its secure embrace against my chest. D
