Chapter 123. Veron's Reason
Veronica looked at Ava, who was standing beside her. She held the tip of the arrow and made sure that she would hit the center. She firmed her hands and hit the center so fast. She jumped so happily that she almost hugged Ava, who was frowning at her.
“You seem happy for a single arrow despite that you use twenty arrows, seriously, Veronica?” Ava commented, making her stop from jumping happily. She pursed her lips and flipped her hair. When she came back in their pack, Ava seemed so preoccupied that she decided to practice using the arrow.
She knew that Ava had been thinking something in her head. She didn't like to tell her because she disliked that she would get stressed about something else.
“It's not my fault that I don't know how to use these,” She pointed out the bow from Ava's hands. She arched her brow and noticed a dark part of Ava's eyes. “Are you okay? Do you want me to go back in our pack? Jaxon will understand if I decide to go back here.”
