Veronica didn't stop crying even though Morgan tried to make her feel better. She bit her lips to prevent herself from creating a loud sound, and she didn't even know what she would do next. She was confused if she would explain herself to Jaxon.

But because her pride didn't want her to apologize for the mistakes that she didn't even make, she didn't do it. Veronica felt that there was a reason why she lost her memories.
