I stared at my reflection in the mirror, feeling a wave of anger and humiliation rising in my heart again. I could still hear Caden's words ringing in my ears, mocking me for losing to him.

I clenched my fists, feeling the blood rush to my face. He insulted me, threatened me and left me alive to carry the shame forever.
