Chapter 75. Guards and Threat

Isla's POV:

I tapped my feet on the floor, running out of patience. Vlad should have been here by now but I hadn't even received a single text from him. All the time which was being wasted made me more anxious and scared of the future.

"Hey! Sorry, I was stuck in the traffic. "

Vlad touched my shoulder and I relaxed at his sight.

"Listen, we can't take the offer. " I didn't waste any second before I blurted out my thoughts.

He was taken aback, " Wait, what? Why? "

"I just can't. Can you call them again and not get into the deal? " I exhaled a heavy breath.

He was lost for a minute but then his brows straightened and he licked his lips. He had always been so understanding about everything.
