Chapter 10. A Beast

Titan's POV

I didn't take her straight to Vince's mansion.

Not yet.

Instead, I found a small motel on the edge of the city. Not too fancy-just quiet, off the radar. I had to be sure no one was following us.

When we got to the room, I laid her down gently on the bed, then called Vince's private doctor.

He didn't ask too many questions. Just showed up, checked her vitals, treated her wounds, gave her a sedative.

Told me she needed rest and handed me a small pack of pills for pain and infection.

Then he left.

Now it's just me.

Sitting beside the bed, watching her breathe.

There's a small bruise on her neck. A cut near her lip. He
