My heart skipped, and my eyes widened.

"What?! I am so happy for you, Phoebe."

"Yeah, I called you to share the good news with you," Daniel said.

"Aww, congrats Daniel, and you too, Phoebe."

"Thanks," they both said and kissed.

"How is Emily?" I asked.

"She's doing very well. We're arranging for her to come over there and stay with you for some time," Daniel replied.

"I'm glad to hear that. I'm sure Max will be very happy to see her. I told him about her and showed him her pictures. When's the wedding? Is the date already fixed?"

"Not yet," Phoebe answered, her voice filled with excitement. "But we've already started discussing it."

Daniel smiled at her.

"She says she wants a small wedding."

Phoebe turned to him with a playful look.

"I said I wanted an intimate wedding. There's a difference."

"Intimate?" Daniel chuckled. "You showed me a guest list with over a hundred names."

"Those are important people."
