“So this is how the better half-lives?”

Cathy turned to glare at Ginny from the bathroom of what Noah had called the East guest room. It was a large sunny room done in canary yellow. The soft color of the wall, the creamy shades of the curtains and beddings, the gold decorative mirror on one side of the wall, and the dull shade of yellow rug beneath the king-size bed all created a very sunny illusion. Ginny had squealed in delight when Noah opened the door, rushing in quickly to gawk at the sheer size of the room.

“There is no such thing as the better half. They are just the half with the money.”

“Right, and we are just the half without staying in the woods. Have you ever been in a place like this Cathy?”
