Even though I had been able to give Keira three orgasms from when we left the restaurant, I knew that we still had to talk, and the look on my little girl’s face was the only confirmation that I needed.

“What’s going on, Clint?” she asked, her eyes searching mine for answers.

I took a deep breath, knowing I couldn’t keep the truth from her any longer. “Martha has been sending me texts,” I admitted, my voice tinged with discomfort. “She said she missed me and wanted to talk.”

If I had my way, I would keep it from Keira so that she would not have to worry about something as trivial as Martha’s annoying feelings. But since it had come to this, there was no hiding anything again.
