Chapter 62. Down the Dark Hole

Keira’s POV

My heart was thumping wildly as I took the steps back to my room.

I can remember how anxious I had been to leave home. To be as far as I could be from every memory that haunted my dreams every night.

Even though school was less than an hour away from here, I had been determined to leave home. But today, my room seemed like it could feel the way I was feeling.

Like my life was falling apart all around me, and there was nothing, just nothing that I could do about it.

I had gone from telling my therapist that I was sleeping with to play dirty against his ex-wife to realizing that Matt was playing dirty on my dad, too.

It sucked to be on the other end of the table, but at the very least, Marie deserved it. But there was no way in hell that my d
