Chapter 19. Marriage
"Why are you laughing?'
"I'm not laughing, I'm stretching." He rolled his eyes and softly chuckled.
"Seriously," I said.
He finally surrendered. "Okay, you just look so hilarious, your face is funny,' he giggled. "Come on, no playing, get up now." He dragged my hand and pulled me up from the bed. "You are such a lightweight."
Well, I haven't eaten properly for days.
I stood still, after getting my balance and pulled my hand away from him. "I don't want your mate to see me with you and start getting suspicious," I grumbled.
"You are my best friend, she knows that."
"But, she doesn't like me, she looks at me as if every minute now, I'm going to snatch you away from her, she doesn't see me as your best friend."
He laughed. "You understand how wolves are, they love to protect their property and their territory,
