Chapter 123. Something Like That

When Jessie noticed that it was already seven o'clock, she jumped out of bed. She put on one of the simplest dresses she could find in her closet and went to take a bath. She needed someone to talk to, and her mother was the only person who came to mind. To get some advice, she would return to her mother's home. 

She let her hair hang loosely on her shoulders and picked up her bag to leave before Din woke up. Jessie realized she had forgotten something crucial as she approached the door. She went back to her room to pick up the document and reached for a paper. 

Before completely leaving the house, Jessie wrote a letter to Din and set the envelope on the table. 

Din found it odd that Jessie wasn't at the dinner table when he awoke. Prior to her departure, he really wanted to enjoy one last breakfast together.
