Chapter 68. Fractured Trust

"The hospital is located at that address. There are also Din's ward numbers written. I recommend that you visit him." Kim got up right away. "I wish you luck." When she stood up from her chair, she turned to face Beth once more and grinned. Beth turned to face her as Kim added, "And one more thing. Don't talk about our meeting with anyone. If they inquire, inform them that you instead received an anonymous letter." She made a second turn and walked out the door.

Beth wondered what had happened to cause Din to lose consciousness as she put the paper back on the table. She was aware that Din's family didn't think much of her, but she was still Din's girlfriend. The same respect that is shown to Jessie should also be shown to her.

She stood up from her chair and went to the address that was written on the piece of paper that Kim had given her. Thanks to the receptionist who had provided her with directions, she was able to locate Din's ward once she arrived at the hospital. <
