Chapter 10. Hey, Beautiful

"I already gave you my number, what else do you want?" I asked refusing to get into her fancy ride, even though I really wanted to know what it felt like to be in such a car, my ego wouldn't let me get in, at least not so easily. A year ago, such cars were nothing new to me but after being inactive for more than a year, I didn't earn a lot and spent all my saving on securing my father's new mansion.

"I just want to give you a ride home, it's dangerous to stand here alone" she replied and grabbed my hand leading me into the car, I wanted to argue and drag my hand away but I knew she was right and who knows what could happen to me if I stayed there any longer.

On entering the car, I couldn't help but sniff in the new car smell, it was obvious that the car had just been bought and I began to wonder how much it must have cost. I made a mental note to look up the price of the car once I got home.

"Where do you live?" Matilda asked, for some reason she still had that stupid smi
