Rose opened her eyes and blinked three times before realizing that the ivory-white ceiling above her head was the ceiling of her mother's room. She woke up her tired body. Rose had no idea that cleaning the house could be this tiring. It had been a long time since she had been involved in helping her mother to clean the house. Rose was busy working part-time at Aunt Marry's modest restaurant and that also meant she rarely saw her mother.
Their time to chat and joke around was quite limited. But now that she was no longer working at Aunt Liliane's restaurant, Rose was still unable to do much with Jasmine due to her health condition.
