Chapter 99. Missing Him

Anna's POV

I woke up in the evening after taking a nap and found him putting his clothes into the luggage.

I immediately sat up, asking him, “where are you going?”

“I have urgent work and for that, I have to go out of the L.A.” As he told me, I pouted sadly at him.

“It’s my birthday day in two days and you’re going. That’s not fair.” I complained in a gloomy tone.

“Don’t worry, I’ll be back before your birthday and then we’ll celebrate it together.” He assured me, placing his hand on my face and blinking his eyes.

“I’ll miss you,” I uttered dejectedly.

“I’ll miss you more.” He kissed my forehead after leaning down and then he pulled me into his warm arms.

I came to drop him off at the airport, not feeling good as he is going away from me for two days. My lips are drawn down in sadness as now I can’t even imagine a single minute without him.

We are standing outside of the airport.
