Chapter 89. Their Words

I wake up with the sun bright. Groaning I cover my face to hide from it and hear Cal chuckle.

“The downside, while at night it is dark, and only the stars can be seen. It’s beautiful and peaceful, but mornings, well as soon as the son wakes up you have to.” He pulls me to him.

“Thank you Cal.” I kiss him and cuddle closer. He’s right, it’s far too early but it’s too bright now the sun is up. “So, what is the plan for today?” The last few days have been weird, and I have found myself missing them, I see one of them and then I don’t see them for two days. It feels weird.

“Home, and live our life.”

“You say that like it is simple Cal.”

“It is, we have each other. That is all that matters puddin. Me, you and them. Come on, let’s go.” He gets up and drags me up with him, leaving me with no choice but to listen. I don’t mind though. I missed D, it’s been two days since I saw him.
