Jacob stared at the phone in his hand and momentarily blanked out. He was stunned and seemed unable to process what Liam had just said. After a few seconds passed, the words finally registered in his mind.

"What do you mean...?" Jacob asked calmly. "Why would she leave without a reason if you're saying she left before the picture issue between Shaira and me came out?"
