Riley's POV 

I had no idea how many weeks it had been or how many months, but I was feeling better. Not too long ago, I had a haircut and fixed my hair to the way I was appreciative of it, the way I wanted it to be. And I had all the support I could ever wish for from my family.

Angela and Derrick, Ash's parents, had also visited me. They stayed with me. They offered all the support my mother was not able to offer. They gave me all the support I could ever wish for. And it was heart-wrenching and beautiful. 

I was jealous of him for having those kinds of parents. But then I realized that they had taken me into their family as one of their own. And it was later on I realized that the contract which Ash had drawn up, the first time we started this relationship again, he had done that because he knew I was in debt to my mother. I owed her a huge sum, and to my surprise, Ash had paid everything.
