Chapter 27. Severely Punished

Alice's POV

I wake up, gasping as the cold water hits my face.

What the hell!

As I open my mouth to shout, my voice dies in my throat upon witnessing my Master shooting daggers at me, grasping a jug in his hand. Anger radiates from his scorching red eyes, and I know I'm in deep trouble.

"How you dare sleep in my bed with me?" He seethes, gritting his teeth.

"Master, you were having nightmares-" I begin to explain, but he cuts me off sharply.

"Shut up." His shout echoes through the room, and I flinch, my ears ringing with the intensity of his anger. His grip on my arm tightens, causing pain to shoot through me.

"Don't you dare tell anyone about what happened last night, or else I'll make your life a living hell." He warns, his dangerous gaze piercing into me as his nails dig into my skin.

His words and actions hurt me, physically and emotionally.
