Chapter 31. Confused Mind
The more Andrea spoke, the more agitated she became, causing team leader Gavin’s scalp to tingle. Fortunately, at that moment, a middle-aged man with the rank of colonel on his shoulder entered swiftly from outside. He barely glanced at Benjamin and his people, then focused on Andrea.
“Comrade Andrea, your family just called and asked you to come home for a while. Your superiors have approved a month’s leave for you. If you have no matters to hand over, you can finish work now.”
