Chapter 98. Provocation

Contrary to their expectations, Grandpa Jerry didn't seem overly distant or difficult to approach. Instead, as soon as he saw his granddaughter, a smile appeared on his somewhat aged face: "Caroline, when did you come back? Why didn't you call so I could pick you up!" Caroline seemed a bit flustered by her grandfather's inquiry, shaking her head.

Then she turned to Benjamin and Ancel and began introducing them: "Grandpa, these two are my friends. This is Ancel; don't let his mature appearance fool you – he's only a few years older than me.
