Chapter 92. Beginning of the End

Titus started walking out of the mansion as soon as he finished speaking.

It took me a second to move, feeling goosebumps raise on my body as the situation settled in me. 

This might be the beginning of the end.

I caught up to him, but he immediately turned to me. 

“Stay here, Sabrina.“

Once again, I was caught in how strong and tense his entire presence was. Especially that I was so close at his two orbs that looked so hard, as if anyone who’d try looking at them directly would drop. But I held my ground.

”No,” I shook my head. I already knew he was going to say this. 

Titus’ lips turned into a thin line, and I’m afraid I was getting into his nerves. But he closed his eyes as if to calm himself down. 

“You, staying here, would give me a peace of mind that you will be safe. I will have all of the Kingsguard stand in all the entrances of the mansion, so no one could get to you. I need you to be safe, Sabrina.” <
