Chapter 96. Spread

‘We’re almost there!’ 

Nate and I’s paws pounded on the ground, but a rogue suddenly appeared behind the shadows, making me stop for a while. 

‘Rina!’ I backed away as Nate took on the rogue. 

I let him, knowing he was far stronger. And I could sense how eager and suddenly fired up Nate was. It's just like me, the compulsion we heard from our king about killing an infected wolf was making us want to do it more. 

The rogue went down and we quickly made our way towards the entrance of the dungeon that we could now see. Thankfully, there was still no one there that could possibly stop us. 

‘Let’s run faster, before anyone gets here.’

We both sped up, knowing the possibility was there. 

Our paws made loud noises as soon as we entered the quiet cave of the dungeon. The cave’s width and height accommodated us as we both entered the prison where Lana Wintour was.

”Nathan,” Lana called as soon as she recognized Na
