Chapter 83

Antonio sat inside his car, parked just outside the precinct, his gaze fixed on the bustling activity around him. He watched as officers hurried in and out of the building, their expressions a mixture of determination and urgency.

His attention was drawn to Max as the detective emerged from the precinct, his posture tense and his movements brisk. Antonio knew he had to act quickly if he wanted to share his suspicions with Max.

"Excuse me, Detective," Antonio called out as Max approached his car, his voice cutting through the air with urgency.
