Chapter 111. Lost Memory

“That is the name someone called me. I did not want to forget, so I wrote it down. Who are you, by the way?” Isabel was taken aback when she heard what her daughter Selena had said. “Everyone looks strange.”

“Selena, I am your mom.”

“Do I have a mom?” She asked. Her skin was pale, and her lips were dry. “I don’t think I ever regretted having a mother.” She said. 

“You will feel better soon. “Where have you been?” Isabel reached for and patted her hand. Selena was so gentle, Isabel had last seen her like this when she was two years old. She had not even begun to hate her yet. Perhaps it is time for her to make things right.
