Chapter 15

Asper’s POV

Mrs. Flerry didn’t leave me alone for hours. And for the whole event, she gave all of her attention to me, as if I was the only person around her.

And because of that, I didn’t understand anything about the event because my whole attention was also focused on her. I couldn’t even check Miracle because she might think that I don’t want to talk to her if she feels like my attention is somewhere else.

She just took her attention to me when she was called on the stage to present some awards and I used that opportunity to go somewhere I could be alone, even for a while.

I saw that the other side of the garden, where the fountain was located, was empty so I decided to sit there. Other guests do not come here so I think I can rest for a while.

“You are here.”

I looked at my side and saw Jyn. I didn’t notice him here sitting at the other side of the fountain and it looks like he has been here first.
