Chapter 18

Asper’s POV

I was so nervous after coming back to the mansion of the Flerrys. Well, I didn’t waste any time and after talking to Assiyah, I immediately fixed myself and went there.

And it looked like they were expecting me because as soon as I said my name, they immediately opened the gate without even asking who I might be visiting.

When I reached the front door of the mansion, a maid was waiting for me and she guided me all the way to the back of the big house.

In the garden.

Mrs. Flerry stood up and greeted me as soon as I got near them. She was smiling but that didn’t help me lessen the nervousness that I am feeling right now.

I just felt like now that someone already knew my identity, it was just a matter of time for Dad to know where I was staying.

“So, I assume that your sister already called you,” she said.

I gulped my saliva before nodding. “And I assume that you are aware of my real identity.”

She told the maid to leave
