Asper’s POV

“So?” I raised my eyebrows after Jyn tasted the dish soup that I cooked. “How is it?”

This is the first time that I cooked this dish. I only saw my staff make this in the orphanage that the foundation supported but I never had a chance to do it myself.

As I said at Easter earlier, I didn't have a choice so I had to learn how to cook but everything was just self-taught. I watch some cooking videos and look at the recipe books that I once bought.

Never had I imagined that I would be cooking something for someone else so I can’t contain my agitation to hear his feedback regarding this dish.

Anxiety started filling me up as I watched him put down the spoon and look at me, wearing his poker face.

But after a while, he smiled at me. “I love it.”

I almost fell after hearing that. I felt relieved thinking that he loved the dish that I cooked. He even made me feel uneasy at first just to surprise me with his feedback.
