Asper’s POV
Hector was frowning when he saw me entering his office. “I thought you would be back next week.” He stood up and approached me. “What are you—fuck!” He kneeled in front of me while holding his stomach because I greeted him with a strong punch. “W-what the hell, Asper? What did I do to deserve another punch from you? Is what happened last night still not enough?”
“Didn’t you watch the news yesterday?” I raised my eyebrows at him. He was about to get up but I stepped on his head and made him face the floor. “You are the only one who knows that I used your car yesterday, right? Yet someone still tried to kill me.”
“W-what?”
“You seem surprised about that,” I said. “Someone chased me yesterday while I was on my way home. And hit my car until it fell in the river.”
