The moment she heard the loud sound of a chair moving violently, she pushed Christian from her with all her strength. She didn’t care if he thought she was rude. Not causing problems between her and Luke was more important than thinking about good manners at this point. She had been fearing for this moment to happen. She looked at her husband whose strides were angry and quick. By the looks of it, she was sure that there was no way she could stop him doing something violent.
