"I don't believe her! That woman is lying!" Tania sparked, pacing about in my room.

It was night and Argon wasn't back from his quest. I just stood close to the window, patiently waiting for his arrival.

"So close! You were so close to your goal, but she shows up and blows a big lie about being pregnant. Once Alpha Argon learns the truth, oh she'd be in so much..."

"Estelle isn't lying," I chipped in, cutting a furious Tania halfway.

"What? " She uttered in disbelief.

I turned around to face my loyal maid, repeating my words. "She's not lying. Estelle is indeed pregnant."

"But how can you be so sure? That's Estelle we're talking about here. You can't believe her lies."

"Yes, she's still the same annoying Estelle we know, but this time around..." I faced the window again, crossing my arms. "She's telling the truth. She's carrying Argon's baby in her womb. And I could easily tell, since I used to be a mother myself."
