"A good night would have been better. He didn't have to glare at me like that," Father grumbled over Argon's behavior.

After the numerous tests, Argon drove me back to my place. He stopped right outside the gate, and didn't even answer my father when he greeted him.

Father invited him to dinner, but Argon delivered a nasty gaze, which has left my father annoyed since that time.

"Yes, he's angry because of what happened, but he's a business like me! Can't he place himself in my shoes and see that I had no other choice? Any man in my place would have done the same! " He vented out, pacing about in the living room.

But I wasn't concerned about Father's worries, but about myself.

I am pregnant with Argon's child!

I'm still in shock. I never thought this day would come. All my thoughts have been on our future, the wedding... But I wasn't expecting this great news to step in.
