His forehead creased when he noticed that all the lights in his house were turned on. Even the terrace lights were on, contradicting what Marcus said about staying in a hotel for a while.
"Marcus?" he called out his friend's name, but there was no response. He wondered why he had to turn on all the lights when there was no occasion. "Marcus?" he called again, but still no answer. He shrugged and proceeded to his room to change his clothes. He needed to rest early because he was going to the province the next day.

He didn't have time to react when Sabrina suddenly hugged him. It was a tight embrace, and he could feel her excitement. "Sabrina..." he whispered her name.
