It has been a month since Samer returned to his country, and I haven't received any phone calls from him. Even his son hasn't contacted me. I really miss them, especially Sam.

Lately, I realized how empty my life is without them. I feel incomplete. However, I want Samer to be the one to greet me first. I know he wasn't joking when he said he loved me, but he might have felt compelled to say it because of what happened between us.

That's why I'm hesitant to believe him completely, as it took something significant to happen between us for him to express his love. Why didn't he tell me earlier? Why did he wait?

Why did we have to be apart before I realized how much I love him? Why did it take a fight for me to admit to myself that Samer was the one in my heart, not Brent? I kept asking myself when the owner of my heart changed, but I didn't even notice!

When did it happen? Was it when he kissed me in the hotel to make Kate jealous? Or was it when I was still in Saudi?<
