A New Chapter

"Hello, Vedika" Mr Sharma said as he answered the call.

"Hello, how is my  sister? Rohit said she is awake. Are you at the hospital?" Vedika asked.

"Yes I'm at the hospital" Mr Sharma replied.

Mrs Sharma rolled her eyes when she heard what Vedika asked. She never expected Vedika to asked if her husband was in the hospital.

"I will hang up now." Mr Sharma said to vedika as he hung up.

He raised his head and looked at his wife, he knew from her expression she was mad at him again.

He quickly placed his phone in his pocket and then he held her hands and set his gaze on her.

"We have been through so much together, and we are still together."

Tears rolled down Mrs Sharma's, she thought about how 40years was filled with so much drama.

"I promise to be here for you. I'm sorry that it took me so long. It's kinda late...umm, umm" Mr Sharma
