Chapter 5
Rai couldn't understood why he kept thinking about the woman at the airport. He didn't even spoke to her, he doesn't even know her name, but yet, he felt drawn to her. Like he was a magnet and she-the metal.
Never had he felt this way before. He doesn't even think he loved Rekha that much to be distracted by the thought of her. He was able to stay away from her for three years, without holding her, without kissing her, without feeling her soft touch-the one he was used to. But here he was drawn to a woman he knew absolutely nothing about.
Rekha noticed Rai was lost in his thoughts. She started to think that maybe he was exhausted from the long flight. But then again, she doesn't know if Rai had gone home before he came to her.
She looked around her room, and toward the door, she could not find any luggage, she suddenly became submerged with fright. Her heart-beat started beating erratically, she was incredibly nervous, she never imagined she could feel this nervous her entire life.
As soon as their eyes met, Rekha almost gaped. When Rai noticed how nervous she was, he fixed his eyes on her. He could not understood why she was feeling that way.
They were always very comfortable with each other. He had known Rekha all his life and they have been a couple for about eight years now. He knew her like the back of his palm. He was certain that she was disturbed but he was unable to guess what could be troubling her.
Rekha was not one that had any problems, she was not one to be troubled with anything or by anyone. She was a fierce, high tempered and spiteful woman. She hardly had any problems cause she herself was a bag of problems. Rekha's reputation precedes her that even her best friend Pooja would not dare step on her toe. But when it came to Rai, she was always calm, benevolent, and somehow kind and sweet. Rai knew these things about her, and it was what he loved the most about her. Rekha had traits he wished he had, she could easily say no, always stood her ground, and she was sweet when he needed her to be. So for her to be disturbed with something, he could hardly guess.
"What's wrong with you? you seemed disturbed." Rai asked.
She seemed to be thinking about something as she looked into his eyes.
"Sorry but...." She started as her gaze travelled from her head down to her toes. "I was not aware you were back in India. You could have called me."
Rai lowered his head and smiled. He had been expecting her to ask. It has been three years after all and him appearing in her bedroom after three years just like that would definitely alarm anyone, even himself would not be pleased with such a person, he could have called her but he did not.
"You don't want me here?" Rai asked, seemingly disappointed. He knew it wasn't in his place to be feeling that way, but he could not help it. He missed her, and he just wanted to be welcomed by her wholeheartedly.
"That's not it. I want you here. I love you." Rekha snickered, shaking her head. She was looking at him with outmost curiosity and for a moment there was a strange and lustful glimmer in his eyes as he stared at her. But it abruptly disappeared as his hand gripped her hips tightly. He caressed her gently with his hand moving from her hips to her belly. He held her tightly by the curves on the side of her belly.
Her tiny waist and super flat belly was one of the things Rai loved about her body. And her cupped sized breast and sleekly smooth skin would made him moan just by touching her.
He continued caressing her and then he kissed her on her arm slowly and gently, bit by bit moving upward towards her shoulder. He then kissed her on her neck, and licked her with his tongue on her neck up to her chin. Then he kissed her on her lips.
"I miss you." He muttered in her ears. Rekha was aroused by the softness of his voice, and his breath on her skin. She moaned loudly and tucked-in her lower lip. She loved the way Rai touched her, and how he always went gently with her. She would never trade it for anything.
Rai carried her in his arms and stood up. Before she knew it, they were inside the bathroom. He put her down in the middle of the shower. She looked up at him with a million questions in her eyes. Then before she could open her mouth to ask....
"Close your eyes Rekha." He ordered.
"Huh? Why?"
"Just close your eyes and don't open it until you hear my signal." Rekha could only comply.
Seconds ticked by and her mind was running around like a headless chicken trying to figure out what he was up to.
The next moment, Rekha heard the sound of the shower, Her eyes opened wide but before she could move, water began to pour down on her.
"You have always preferred the shower to the jacuzzi right?" He smirked and Rekha's mouth dropped. She shivered a little cause of the coldness of the water, but she was later relaxed as the water slowly became warm. She started grinning foolishly as she became calmer and much more relaxed compared to the way she was feeling when Rai barged in her room.
And for some reason she still felt a bit of guilt, but she knew that for now, she had nothing to worry about.
