Amber’s POV

Alpha Jacob had no idea that his beta was a cruel man. As one of the servants, I was supposed to sleep inside the servant’s quarter, but Dale made an arrangement so that I would be staying in his place.

He lied to the alpha about needing a personal maid even at night. Initially, Jacob suggested hiring another person but Dale used his convincing powers to persuade the Alpha.

I am scared of the Luna but Dale was scarier. While the Luna was a threat to my safety, Dale had already abused me, both physically and mentally. How could he ask me to sleep with Jacob while spending a night with me almost every night?
