Amber’s POV

“After you finish cleaning the pool, you should also cook something good because Jacob is coming today,” Dale said while he was standing at the kitchen door.

“All right. Anything else?”

“Have you seen the list? Those were Jacob’s favorite so make sure to prepare all of it,” he instructed.

“You also wrote that in the list, Dale. Can’t you see that I am preparing the ingredients right now?”

I asked but when he kept on standing at the doorway, I narrowed my eyes at him. When I raised the tip of my eyebrow, he just grinned as if there was something funny.

“Do you have something else to tell me, Dale?”

“No more,” Dale angrily left the kitchen.
